Waypoint Property Inspection East, LLC, is a Boynton Beach based family-owned home inspection company serving Southeast Florida.  We have a  'sister company,' Waypoint Property Inspection, LLC, is based in Riverview and services the Greater Tampa Bay Region.  We are fully certified to perform numerous types of property inspections including: new and resale home inspections, new construction inspections (including draw inspections), FHA certification inspections, four point insurance inspections and windstorm mitigation inspections. Our clients include homebuyers, homesellers, current homeowners, investors, banks, insurance companies and mortgage lenders.
 

Mark Wahl opened Waypoint Property Inspection East in 2006 after spending the majority of his career in the insurance industry specializing in Claims and Risk Management services.  He studied Business Management while attending the University of South Florida and Raritan Valley College. Mark completed his home inspection training at Kaplan Schools/Inspection Training Associates as well. He has over 120 hours of inspection training and regularly completes continuing education classes to ensure he stays current with industry expectations.   Mark has passed the National Home Inspector Examination (currently not required in the State of Florida for home inspectors.)  He is an active member of the American Society of Home Inspectors and the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors. Mark posesses a Florida Home Inspectors License which is now required in the state to perform inspAdditionally, Mark is certified through the  Partnership for Response and Recovery (PaRR) as an inspector to assist FEMA with building assessments that have been affected by national disasters. And he is certified by the state of Forida to conduct Windstorm Mitigation Inspections to assist homeowners in fortifying their homes against high wind events such as hurricanes. He is also a certified member of the Palm Beach County Emergency Response Team (CERT.) 

Mark's prior work experience has given him the knowledge he now uses when working with his client's.  He ability to deliver the inspection information with care has endeered him to his clients and their realtors. 

Prior to opening Waypoint Property Inspection in 2004, Bob Hintze spent over 20 years in the financial services and retail industries as an executive leader. At times he had over 400 associates directly reporting to him, while he simultaneously directed several large departments. In addition to his bachelor's degree in Business Management from Virginia Tech, Bob earned a Masters Certificate in Project Management from the George Washington University. Throughout his corporate career, he focused on providing excellent service and educating his clients.

Bob completed extensive home inspection training at Kaplan Professional Schools/Inspection Training Associates in Tampa, FL. He has over 250 hours of inspection training and regularly completes continuing education classes to ensure he stays current with industry expectations. He has passed the National Home Inspector Examination (currently not required of Florida home inspectors,) and he is an active member of the American Society of Home Inspectors and the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors.  Bob possesses a Florida Home Inspectors License as mandated by the state of Florida.  Additionally, Bob is certified through the Partnership for Response and Recovery (PaRR) as a Senior Inspector to assist FEMA with building assessments that have been affected by national disasters. Throughout his business career and as the owner of Waypoint, Bob has focused on providing excellent service while educating his clients. This commitment to the client has always been a part of his guilding principles; it is also the foundation of Waypoint Property Inspection.
